Power is a force that influences, shapes, and directs the course of lives, nations, and destinies. In the pursuit of true power, it is essential to understand both the spiritual and moral foundations that govern its righteous use. The Bible offers profound insights into the nature of power, how to acquire it, wield it responsibly, and maintain integrity in its exercise.
1. Power Comes from God, Not Man
“The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.” Proverbs 21:1
True power originates from God. Those who seek power must recognize that it is God who grants authority and influence. Humility before God ensures that power is used for righteousness rather than selfish gain.
