The greatness, power, and sovereignty of God are unmatched in the universe. The Bible repeatedly affirms that our God is not limited by human constraints, there is no situation, challenge, or difficulty that He cannot handle. The phrase “With God, all things are possible” encapsulates the limitless capacity of our Creator and Savior. When we believe in His ability, we open ourselves to divine intervention, miracles, and extraordinary breakthroughs.
This message explores the truth that God is able; able to do exceedingly, abundantly, and above all we can ask or imagine, and how faith in His limitless power can transform our lives, circumstances, and destinies.
1. God’s Power Is Unlimited
The fundamental truth about God is that His power knows no bounds. He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and nothing is too difficult for Him.
“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” (Jeremiah 32:17)
God is omnipotent, possessing all power. His ability is not limited by time, space, or human understanding.
When facing impossible situations, remember that God’s power is greater than any obstacle. Trust Him to intervene beyond natural laws.
2. With God, All Things Are Possible
This is one of the most powerful and encouraging declarations in Scripture, spoken by Jesus Himself.
“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’” (Matthew 19:26)
No matter how bleak your circumstances seem, divine possibility exists when God is involved. Nothing is beyond His reach.
Believe in the impossible. Pray boldly, trust in God’s capacity to turn around your impossible situations, and expect divine breakthroughs.
3. God Can Do Miracles
Miracles are divine acts that defy natural laws, and the Bible is filled with accounts demonstrating God’s miraculous power.
“Is anything too hard for the Lord?” (Genesis 18:14)
“The Lord is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.” (Ephesians 3:20)
God specializes in miracles, healing the sick, raising the dead, providing abundantly, and delivering His people.
Trust God to perform miracles in your life, believe for healing, breakthroughs, and divine provision.
4. God’s Power Is Demonstrated Through Faith
Faith is the conduit through which God’s power is released. Without faith, it is impossible to please God or see His mighty hand at work.
“And Jesus said, ‘According to your faith let it be done to you.’” (Matthew 9:29)
“Without faith it is impossible to please God.” (Hebrews 11:6)
Faith pleases God and activates His power. The greater your faith, the greater the manifestation of His power in your life.
Increase your faith through prayer, reading the Word, and meditating on God’s promises. Believe that God is able and willing to do what He has promised.
5. God’s Ability Is Eternal and Unchanging
Unlike human strength, which diminishes with age or circumstances, God’s ability is eternal and unchanging.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)
“Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.” (Psalm 147:5)
God’s power is everlasting. His promises and ability are the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Trust in God’s unchanging nature. No matter how unpredictable life becomes, His power remains steadfast.
6. God Can Save, Heal, and Deliver
The Bible confirms that God’s ability to save from sin, heal sickness, and deliver from bondage is limitless.
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” (Psalm 147:3)
“For nothing is impossible with God.” (Luke 1:37)
God’s ability to save and heal is not limited by human ailments or situations. He is the divine healer and deliverer.
Have faith for healing and deliverance. Pray confidently, believing that God can restore health, peace, and freedom.
7. God Can Provide All Your Needs
Divine provision is a testament to God’s ability to supply abundantly.
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
“The Lord is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:8)
God is able to provide for every need, financial, emotional, spiritual, or physical.
Trust Him for your daily needs. Give generously, and watch Him supply all your needs supernaturally.
8. God Can Turn Around Your Worst Situations
No matter how dire or hopeless your circumstances seem, God has the power to turn them around.
“The Lord is able to restore what the locust has eaten.” (Joel 2:25)
“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)
God specializes in making a way where there seems to be no way.
Bring your impossible situations to God in prayer, trust His divine power, and expect a supernatural turnaround.
9. God’s Ability Is Demonstrated Through His Word
God’s Word is full of power and promises that affirm His ability to do what He has declared.
“So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty.” (Isaiah 55:11)
“The Lord is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.” (Ephesians 3:20)
God’s Word is alive and active. When you stand on His promises, His power is released in your life.
Declare God’s Word over your life. Meditate on His promises and believe He is able to fulfill every word.
10. Faith in God’s Ability Brings Peace and Confidence
Believing in God’s ability removes fear and worry, replacing them with peace and confidence.
“Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.” (Isaiah 26:4)
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
Confidence in God’s ability gives you peace, knowing that He is fully capable of handling all your issues.
Practice trusting God daily. Release your worries and fears to Him and walk in peace.
The overarching truth is clear: God is able, able to do anything and everything according to His divine will. Nothing is too hard for Him; no problem is beyond His power. When you believe and trust in His ability, you position yourself for divine breakthroughs, miracles, and supernatural favor.
