GOD CAN’T TELL YOU TO BREAK ANOTHER MAN’S MINISTRY

Respecting God’s divine order and the ministries He has established is one of the most important values we must uphold in our spiritual and ministerial journey. As ministers and believers, it is vital to understand that God’s Spirit promotes unity, love, and edification, not division and destruction. The Bible clearly shows us that God’s nature and His commands do not support the breaking down of another man’s work for personal gain or malice.

God Is a God of Order, Not Confusion

1 Corinthians 14:33 (KJV):
“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”

God’s nature is one of peace, order, and harmony. If God is the author of peace, then any instruction that leads to division or destruction of another ministry contradicts His very character.

God Calls for Unity, Not Division

John 17:21 (KJV):
“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.”

Jesus prayed for unity among believers. Any action that seeks to tear down another ministry contradicts Christ’s prayer and God’s desire for unity among His people.

God Honors His Servants, and He Does Not Lead His Ministers to Destroy One Another

Romans 14:19 (KJV):
“Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.”

God’s Spirit inspires us to build up, not tear down. A true minister’s role is to edify the body of Christ, not to destroy others’ work.

The Spirit of God Promotes Love and Respect

Ephesians 4:29 (KJV):
“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”

Any command from God that encourages speaking ill of or sabotaging another minister is contrary to His Spirit.

God’s Word Is Clear: Do Not Covet or Envy Another’s Ministry

Exodus 20:17 (KJV):
“Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor’s.”

Covetousness often leads to destructive actions. God’s plan is for each minister to operate in their calling without envy or malicious intent.

God Knows the End from the Beginning

Isaiah 46:9-10 (KJV):
“Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me: Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done.”

God’s sovereignty means He has a divine timetable for each ministry. No one can usurp or destroy what God has ordained.

The Consequences of Jealousy and Malice

James 3:16 (KJV):
“For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.”

God warns us that envy and strife lead to chaos. Breaking another man’s ministry out of jealousy is not from God but from fleshly desire.

God’s Word Is Clear: Do Not Touch God’s Anointed

1 Samuel 26:9 (KJV):
“And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the Lord’s anointed, and be guiltless?”

Ministers are anointed by God. To attack or break another’s ministry is to attack God’s anointed, which provokes His judgment.

God Calls Ministers to Shepherd, Not to Destroy

Ezekiel 34:2-4 (KJV):
“Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flock?”

God’s ministers are called to feed and nurture, not to destroy or devour one another.

God’s Spirit Will Judge the True and the False

Romans 14:12 (KJV):
“So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”

God will judge each minister according to His perfect will. We are to focus on our calling, not on tearing down others.

As ministers and believers, we must remember that God’s Spirit is one of love, unity, and edification. God will never tell you to break another man’s ministry because such actions are contrary to His nature and His Word. Instead, we are called to build, support, and pray for one another, recognizing that each ministry is part of God’s divine plan.

Let us walk in humility, love, and respect for God’s work in others, knowing that God is the one who exalts and establishes ministries.
