Ministry is more than just a job; it is a divine calling to serve God and His people. Anyone who has been called to lead, guide, and care for a group of believers needs to know the basics of ministry.
1. The Call to Serve
A firm sense of the call to serve lies at the center of any successful ministry. A strong feeling of purpose and a personal relationship with God often lead to this call.
Getting to Know Your Call
Divine Initiation: God starts the vocation to service. It frequently comes from prayer, a strong belief, or words of prophecy from other people. It is important to remember that this call is not something you choose for yourself; it was planned by God.

Ministers can fulfill their divine calling with wisdom, grace, and efficiency if they understand these essentials.
