We shall explore the nature of faith, its role in ministry, and how it leads to exploits that glorify God and transform lives.
Faith is often defined in biblical terms as “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). This definition highlights the essence of faith as a deep trust in God’s promises, even when circumstances seem contrary. For ministers, faith is the foundation upon which all ministry activities are built. It is the catalyst that ignites the believer’s heart and propels them into action.
The Source of Faith:
Faith originates from a relationship with God. Romans 10:17, teaches us, “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Engaging with Scripture, prayer, and the community of believers strengthens faith. For a minister, immersing oneself in the Word of God is essential for nurturing faith that leads to divine exploits.
The Role of Faith in the Life of a Minister:
For ministers, faith is not just personal; it extends to the congregation they serve. A minister’s faith can inspire and uplift the community, encouraging others to trust in God’s promises.
